William Henry Steeves House Museum
The Steeves House is a charming “Colonial” mansion built in 1840 around the original 1812 “cottage”. In 1814 William Henry Steeves was born in the cottage, the oldest of eleven children. He was a “Father of Confederation” and later became a Senator.
